A late-seventies man from Coquitlam, British Columbia, was found guilty on 11 charges of sexual assault.
According to court documents, Raymond Gaglardi was found guilty on Monday in B.C. Supreme Court in New Westminster.
The accusations involved young males or adolescent boys who frequented multiple churches in the Coquitlam region between 1993 and 2007.
After meeting the victims’ parents at the Metro Vancouver churches, Gaglardi offered therapy sessions to them at his house, the RCMP said in 2020.
In July of the following year, when Gaglardi was 75 years old, the first charges were brought after an investigation that started in 2019.
On December 8, he is due back in court for a pre-sentence report.
