There are multiple types of court hearings, which cover: the overview of the claim, the status of the certification materials, the proposed certification schedule for the two parties, and any other additional orders counsel may want to bring forward. These conferences help the counsels come to agreement on when each party must deliver certain document pursuant to the proceedings.
The main item on the agenda for this court hearing Cottonelle flushable wipes case was the certification schedule. The parties agreed to a certification application date in May 2022. Parties will continue to submit materials and exchange arguments up until this date.
