Gabrielle Semchuk

Gabrielle grew up in British Columbia before pursuing her undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Race and Social Justice. A passion for education and social equity led her to Thompson Rivers University (TRU), where she completed a Master of Education before going on to obtain her law degree from TRU’s Faculty of Law. During her third year of law school, Gabrielle was recognized with course prizes in both Sports Law and Comparative & International Indigenous Rights, reflecting her commitment to areas of law that intersect with justice, identity, and community.

Gabrielle was called to the Alberta bar in 2026.

When not in the office, Gabrielle is an avid traveller and a dedicated reader — if you can’t find her at her desk, she’s likely tucked away in a corner with a good book.
