Saro J. Turner

Saro joined Slater Vecchio in 2009 and spent the first decade of his career representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, frequently as lead counsel at trial.

Since 2020 his practice has focused on class action litigation through which he advances individual rights against large corporate defendants in a variety of fields of law, including consumer protection, negligence, product liability, competition, privacy, and others.

He earned a master’s degree in international affairs at Carleton University, followed by a law degree, with honours, from the University of Ottawa. Saro received academic all-Canadian honours while playing on UBC’s varsity rugby team during his undergraduate studies. Now an active rugby referee and a father of two young boys, Saro spends his weekends keeping the peace both on the field and at home.
