Guillaume Savard

Since 2026, Guillaume Savard has been an associate at Slater Vecchio dedicated to class action litigation, at the trial and appellate level before both federal and provincial courts. Apart from consumer protection, his interest includes constitutional and administrative law, and civil liability.

Born and raised in Chibougamau, a small northern town, Guillaume later moved to Montréal, where he attended the Université de Montréal and earned a degree in both civil law (LL.B.) and common law (J.D.). In 2023, he was called to Bar of Québec. Prior to arriving at Slater Vecchio, Guillaume had been clerking at the Court of Appeal of Québec for three years, where he developed an expertise in appellate litigation helping and advising the Court in over forty cases, including some high-profile cases in class action or constitutional law. During this period, he also became the coauthor of a legal treatise on Crown civil liability.

When not in his office, Guillaume can be found traveling, discovering new restaurants, or relaxing with loved ones.
